Summary	0000644: Licence change to BSD licence
Description	We decided to use the 2-clause-BSD licence for our new code contributions and to strive for a licence change for the complete driver to get rid of the non-monetary restriction. Nearly a year ago we already discussed roughly what parts of the driver have to be rewritten and exchanged. (Unfortunately I forgot most of the details.) This bug should serve as a tracking bug to get an overview of our progress: what has been done and what has still to be changed. The goal would be: when this bug has no un-resolved dependencies, we can officially change the licence. ;-) I have no clue, how long it will take or if we can realistically attempt this in the course of 3.5.x, but we should start documenting stuff first and can transfer this bug if appropriate.
